I just went to the theater yesterday to watch the Superman vs Batman movie. Superman was my personal boyhood hero. It was a pretty good movie all in all. I promise that i will not make spoilers, but I will have to warn Christians of the bad theology throughout this movie. The movie makes many comparisons of God and Superman (especially when Lex Luther talks about Superman) which I think is might be a little much to make that comparison. Lex Luther when he has a dialogue with Superman brought up the Epicurus "problem of evil". He says "If God is all good, then he could not be all powerful. If God is all powerful, then he could not be all good." Apologists have addressed this problem many times. I will provide a few links to that. But that particular complaint made me think that atheistic organizations or atheists themselves wanted some influence on the script. I recommend that Christians watch the videos or read the articles that I link to before you watch this movie and explain that problem to your kids or who ever you take to see the movie.
